Title: How to FAST-Track Research in Modern Era?

Dr. Junaid Shuja is a Senior Lecturer in Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. He served as Associate Professor at FAST-NUCES, Assistant Professor at COMSATS University Islamabad, and adjunct lecturer at UCSI Malaysia. He completed his BS in Computer and Information Science from PIEAS, Pakistan, in 2009 and MS in Computer Science from COMSATS University Pakistan, in 2012. He completed his Ph.D. from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2017 under the BrightSpark scholarship program. His Ph.D. thesis focused on the execution of SIMD instructions on heterogeneous mobile and cloud platforms. He received the “Graduate on Time” award from the University of Malaya. His research interests include the application of machine learning techniques in edge computing, Large Language Models for low-resource languages, and Blockchain. He has published research in more than 60 International journals and conferences. Dr. Junaid received the best researcher award in 2018 and the best young researcher award from COMSATS University in 2021. His article also received the Best paper award at the International Symposium on Performance Evaluation of Computer and Telecommunication Systems, France, in 2018. He serves as Associate Editor at PeerJ Computer Science, Telecommunication Systems, and Cluster Computing.
